The kennels are large with all pens having their own inside / outside area. All pens have either a north or east outlook into landscaped gardens with an abundance of livestock to keep your dogs entertained.
Check that your vaccinations are current at least a month before your holiday. This gives you time to have them updated if they have expired. We appreciate it if you drop your dogs off early morning.
This gives us time to settle your dog and monitor their progress before closing.
All dogs must be vaccinated with a C5 vaccination.
The vaccination must be current and any shots / booster shots must be finalised no less than 12 days before check-in date.
Proof of vaccination is required on the day.
We have spacious exercise yards which are used as play areas also.
Please give your dog a flea treatment 2 days before arrival. If a dog is found to have fleas it will be treated at your expense.
We also have a small dog section that is available for smaller breeds of dogs.
Upon arrival your dog must stay in the car until all paper work in reception is finalised, then your dog can be brought in on a lead.
Bedding is supplied but you are welcome to bring your dogs favourite bed / blanket but it must be washed and clean. Top Dog Pet Resort will not be responsible if your dog rips up its bedding.

Dave has been rescuing and adopting animals his whole life. After moving to the Bellarine Peninsula over 35 years ago, he began caring for a variety of animals on his farm, including sheep, cows, horses, dogs, cats, birds, and even alpacas and goats. His passion for animal care has always been a central part of his life.
In 2008, Dave decided to dedicate his career specifically to caring for dogs. He plays an active role in the local community by supporting animal welfare initiatives and shelter efforts to improve the lives of pets. His dedication to animal welfare extends beyond his professional work, reflecting a deep-seated commitment to the well-being of animals in his community.
Dave’s commitment to care is a family tradition. His children share his love of dogs and often help out at the kennels, ensuring each dog receives attentive, hands-on care.
